Introduction
The Jewish people have had a very difficult time in world history. Examples are in the Bible and in history and so far little has changed. Hamas' (1) current attack is a fact of this. This is how Hamas wants to destroy Israel. Hatred of Jews also occurs in the West. The aggressive atmosphere during demonstrations against the Jewish people shows this (Nausicaa Marbe, Telegraaf, October 21, 2023 and Nederlands Dagblad, October 21, 2023). Everywhere in Europe, demonstrators are lashing out against Israel. The message being conveyed is that Palestine must be free of Jews from the river to the sea and that Israel must be wiped off the map (Hatefestijn, Telegraaf, October 23, 2023). A Hamas document from 2017 states: “a complete liberation of Palestine, from sea to sea” (Rabbi Evers, Judaism Online, October 11, 2023).
Iran sides with Hamas. The regime wishes to destroy Israel (Dr. Jürgen Buhler, ICE president, October 9, 2023 and Prof. Dr. Afshin Elian, in Goedemorgen Nederland on NPO 1, October 9, 2023). In addition, Hamas is working with Hezbollah (2) in Lebanon (Ton van Gurp, Nu.nl, October 9).
“I hope that the state of war with Israel becomes permanent and that the country goes to war on all borders," a Hamas media advisor told the newspaper. He assumes that "the Arab world will stand behind us" (Interviews with Hamas leaders: attack 'new status quo' New York Times, November 9, 2023).
It is noted that there are less than 16 million Jews in the world (even fewer than there are Dutch people) (Leon de Winter, Opinie in de Telegraaf, November 1, 2023).
The purpose of this article is limited to a few peoples or organizations that wanted or want to destroy the Jewish people with their actions. This is not about the exiles in the world (including the humiliations) that the Jewish people still have to endure.
The examples come from the Bible and current history.
Questions are:
1. Which nations and political powers are they aiming to destroy the Jewish people?
2. What Metahistorical spiritual power inspires the destruction?
Examples in the Bible (3)
Exodus 1:15-16. The king (Pharaoh) of Egypt ordered midwives to kill newly born boys. Exodus 13:17-20. The pursuit of Pharaoh and 600 horsemen to Israel crossing the Red Sea.
Exodus 17:8-15. Israel's battle against Amalek, which Joshua won. The Lord said to Moses: “Write this in a book for a memorial, and it will be written on Joshua, that I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” Then Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is My Banner. And he said, Let the hand be upon the throne of the Lord. The Lord has a war against Amalek from generation to generation.
This means that the Jewish people will be confronted with an opponent of the Amalek type until the end of world history. This could be a nation, power, culture and a terrorist organization.
Deuteronomy 25:17-19. Amalek must be exterminated. Think what Amalek did to you when you came out of Egypt. When it attacked the weak in the rear. Therefore you shall blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven, and you shall not forget it.
Esther 3:1-15. The festival of Purim, one of the most joyful holidays in Israel, is based on the story of Esther. The events of the book or “scroll” of Esther took place during the Jewish exile in Persia under King Ahasuerus (Xerxes / 486-465 BC). However, the spiritual roots of the story date back to the time when Saul (of the House of Kish) first ruled as king over Israel (4).
And in a very real sense, the long-running rivalry between the House of Kish and the House of Agag is replayed more than 600 years later in the story of Esther.
The book of Esther 3:10 states that Haman the Agagite wanted to destroy the Jews. His plan failed due to the actions of the Jewish Queen Esther. He was finally killed.
The article: Fighting the Spirit of the Nation Amalek (International, Christian, Embassy, Jerusalem, March 9, 2023) states: Since then, this people became the archetype of enmity for Israel, with even God declaring: “The Lord will make war with Amalek from generation to generation” (Exodus 17:16).
History in our time
The Holocaust
The Holocaust, also called Shoah (5) (Hebrew: Ha-Shoah), was the systematic persecution and genocide of Jews by the Nazis and their allies before and during World War II. During Nazi Germany's rule, between 5.1 and 6.2 million European Jews were murdered. The murders largely took place in extermination camps in gas chambers and in mass executions by Einsatzgruppen (5) (Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
Hamas' attack on October 7, 2023 in Israel.
The 2023 Hamas attack in Israel was a coordinated surprise attack by the militant movement Hamas from the Gaza Strip on Israel, called Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
On the morning of October 7, 2023, Hamas fired thousands of rockets from the Gaza Strip at Israeli locations in the border region and at the major cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Hundreds of militants broke through the border with Israel and carried out massacres in the border area, killing at least 1,300 civilians and soldiers. An estimated 200-250 persons were captured and taken to Gaza as hostages. Hamas stated that the attack was a response to the violence of Israeli settlers, the blockade of the Gaza Strip, the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, as well as to the atrocities committed by the Israeli side against the Palestinian people in recent decades ( Wikipedia).
The goal of Hamas is not to govern Gaza and provide it with water and electricity and the like,” but to “completely overturn the situation,” said a member of the terrorist group's political bureau (Brabants Dagblad, November 8, 2023).
Hamas has no interest in governing Gaza but wants an endless war with Israel, members of the terrorist group told The New York Times in an editorial published Wednesday. According to Hamas leaders, that was one of the main objectives of their October 7 invasion of the northwestern Negev, in which thousands of armed terrorists massacred 1,400 people, mostly civilians, injured more than 5,000 others and took more than 200 hostages into Gaza (The New York Times, November 2023)
The spiritual power that incites the destruction of Israel
The Pharaoh and Egypt
All individuals, nations, etc. in the world are under the judgment of God. So also Pharaoh and the angel of Egypt in the oppression of Israel. As soon as God’s judgment (7)was pronounced against Pharaoh and the angel of Egypt, the angel lost his position and power in his specific spiritual sphere (The Zohar, Volume III, 154). The Angel of God who went before the army of Israel, then stood behind (Israel) and in front of the Egyptian army (Exodus 14:19-21). Why did the Angel of God go?
The goal was to stand behind Israel? The purpose was to defend the Jewish people against the enemy angels in all invisible spiritual realms (8), who had come to fight against Israel. This was after God had already punished the guardian angel of Egypt. At that moment the greatest angel appeared from the highest spiritual sphere to assist the Pharaoh of Egypt and his army and with him 600,000 enemy angels against Israel. This angelic prince was Samael (9), the great adversary of God and accuser of God against Israel (The Zohar, Volume III, p. 157 and by Dr. Moshe Katz, Hidden Codes in the Torah, 2013).
Moses, however, remained deeply troubled in his mind because of Samael, who had not ceased to accuse Israel before God since the Exodus (Louis Ginzberg, The Legends of the Jews 3:1, 1909).
The battle against Amalek (Exodus 17:8-16 and Esther Part 3:1-23).
Amalek is the first nation that wanted to destroy the nation of Israel and had no fear of God (The Zohar, Volume III, pg203-207 and Deuteronomy, 24:18). Moses was aware that a war was about to take place in Heaven. It was not a war of flesh and blood, but against Samael. who helped Amalek from the spiritual world (The Zohar, Volime III, pp. 205-206). Moses saw (in his spirit) that Samael would fight for Amalek (The Zohar, Volume III, p.206 and Dr. Moshe Katz, Hidden Codes in The Torah, 2013).
Haman
Haman's attempt to destroy the Jewish people is a direct result of the historical and philosophical battles between Amalek and Israel. As a descendant of Agag, who was king of Amalek, Haman knew of the Jewish victories over Amalek. That was in the deserts during the time of King Saul and definitively recorded in Jewish texts. His desire to exterminate the Jews as a nation was a direct result of this historic battle between Israel and Amalek (NJOP (10)).
Haman is inspired by the angel Samael. He is the enemy of God and His people. Haman's plot is to exterminate the Jewish people in Persia (Erin Davis, Bible every day, February 2021).
The Holocaust
The purpose of Samael is to cause both harm and destruction to the people of Israel (The Zohar Vol. IV p.194-195bb). The worst damage that has happened to the people is the destruction of the First and Second Temples and the Holocaust (The World's Best & Most Scientific Site on Bible Codes, August 11, 2012).
Professor Haralick felt that there is a relationship between Samael and Hitler. Hitler is the direct cause of the Holocaust. Then the word Nazi is added to the words Samael and Hitler. In summary, there is a relationship between Samael, Hitler, Nazi and the Holocaust (The World's Best & Most Scientific Site on Bible Codes, August 11, 2012) (11).
Gaza and Hamas
Prof. Dr. W. J. Ouweneel claims that an angelic prince inspires Hamas (Nederlands Dagblad, October 20, 2023). Who is this monarch?
Since the January 2006 Palestinian elections, Hamas has been the dominant political force in Gaza. Rabbi Glazerson and Professor Haralick believed that there was a relationship between Samael and Hamas and their sponsor Iran. The Palestinian group Hamas is known for their terror tactics and violence against the people of Israel. The Hamas charter calls for the destruction of the State of Israel.
It is easy to see that Hamas's ideology is autocratic, anti-democratic, anti-Jewish, and does not recognize the existence of the State of Israel (Eretz Magazine, June 25, 2007).
Conclusion
A number of peoples and organizations have been mentioned that wanted or want to destroy Israel. They are compared to the people of Amalek mentioned in the Bible and act in the spirit of Amalek. Amalek is the arche type for the nations that want to eliminate the Jewish people etc.
Nations that are strongly anti-Semitic may have the opportunity for the spirit of Samael to infiltrate them. In every nation there is the opportunity to be latent or manifest against Jewish people. The history of Christian Europe also has examples of this (F, de Graaff, when gods die, 1969).
About a thousand years ago, in the 11th and 12th centuries, the Church and governments increasingly began to view the Jews as a danger to Christian society. Contact with them had to be avoided as much as possible. Jews were not allowed to hold public positions, own land or employ Christians (City Walking Office, Persecution of Jews in the Middle Ages, May 2020).
The persecution of the Jews in Christian Europe started around the year 1000. The Middle East also experienced horrific persecutions of Jews. One of the many revivals of Jew hatred and persecution occurred in the 19th century; During that period the term anti-Semitism was also introduced (Wikepedia).
In the Islam, genuine piety and love for God could exist. In terms of tolerance, Islam is superior to Christianity. Mohammed prescribed a unique tolerance towards Jews and Christians (Dr. F.de Graaff, When gods die, 1969). Over time this has changed.
Jews lived in Arab countries for thousands of years. Many Jewish communities predate Islam. But in the twentieth century, with the advent of Arab nationalism and the conflict in Palestine, came a campaign to violate the rights of their Jewish subjects. The Jewish community in Iraq lived there for 2,500 years and formed the heart of the cultural development of Judaism. Where the Babylonian Talmud was written and compiled. Upon the establishment of the State of Israel, this ancient community was persecuted by the Iraqi government and exiled after violent attacks (Expulsion of Jews from Arab Countries, 1-12 2014).
Closing off
According to the Jewish calendar, we live in the year 5784 after the creation of Adam and Eve. There is a tradition in the Talmud that says that by the year 6000 the Messianic age will begin. In the past 3336 years, our people have survived all enemies. From Nebuchadnezzar to Hitler, Nasser, Hussein and many others. The battle we are now waging is the final 'exile' and inevitably leads to the coming of the Messiah. We continue to trust in God (Rabbi Evers, Nederlands Dagblad, September 8, 2022).
According to the Jewish calendar, there are now 216 years to go in 2023 (5784) before that year 6000 will begin. So we are heading into an exciting time.
Future orientation and decisiveness are important success factors for politics, government and business. There is only one problem: looking ahead is becoming increasingly difficult. The world is turbulent and the challenges are great; from climate, energy, water and migration to agriculture, the labor market and European cooperation. This leads to unrest and uncertainty. Unpredictability is the new normal. What other trends can we identify? ((Sjors van Leeuwen, 4 world trends for 2023: unpredictability is the new normal, November 14, 2022).
What does this mean? That we now live in turbulent times, with a lot of uncertainty. In addition to geopolitical unrest and strife, the battle in the heavenly realms is becoming increasingly intense. Instead of only taking a geopolitical vision into account, a metahistorical vision is also needed.
The year 6000
The year 6000 (exact or approximately) traditionally applies in both Jewish and Christian tradition. But also on good Biblical grounds, as the year in which the great world Sabbath will begin. After all, one day is like a thousand years, etc. According to the Jewish calendar, there are still 216 years to go before that year 6000 will begin. We live in a time that is even more exciting from a Biblical chronological perspective.

1. Hamas is part of the pan-Arab Fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood that seeks Islamic world domination. It is not a nationalist organization (israel current, November 2023).
2. Hezbollah response, There is a “real” possibility that the Lebanese front will expand as Israel expands, Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's leader, said in a lengthy televised speech on Friday. His speech came a day after the terrorist organization Hezbollah launched attacks along the entire Israeli border, targeting both civilians and Israeli army positions. “The war has already spread to more than one front,” Nasrallah said. “We salute the armies of Iraq and Yemen who have entered the heart of this blessed campaign.” He claimed that the Hamas massacre attack on southern Israel on October 7 was entirely planned and carried out “by the Palestinians.” “We have two goals in mind: to stop the fighting for humanitarian reasons and to achieve victory for Gaza and Hamas,” Nasrallah said. “The option that the Lebanese front will expand is very real (Yaakov Lappin, JNS Daily Syndicate, November 3, 2023).
3. For more detailed information see the texts in the Bible (Exodus and Deuteronomy).
4. In the days of Saul, he was challenged to prove himself as Israel's leader in battle against their worst enemies, the Amalekites, and thus establish his kingship over Israel. Saul was from the tribe of Benjamin and his family were Kishites, a little known community at the time. The prophet Samuel declared that the time to establish his rule had come (1 Samuel 15:1), but it required strict obedience. Saul was commanded to take part in a battle of great historical and spiritual significance for Israel, dealing a final blow against their old archenemy – the Amalekites. The book of First Samuel tells us that Saul attacked the enemy with ease, but he did not complete the mission wholeheartedly. He kept the best of the sheep for himself and worse, he spared Agag, king of the Amalekites. He reigned even further back to when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt.
5. The word holocaust means "burnt offering" and is derived from the Ancient Greek word ὁλόκαυστον (holókauston), which literally means "whole burned." In ancient times this was an indication for a burnt offering to a deity. The word holocaust in this sense also existed in Middle Dutch in the 14th century, but subsequently fell into disuse. (Wikipedia).
6. The mission of the Einsatzgruppen was to eliminate all resistance behind the German front line. The Einsatzgruppen killed what they considered "undesirable elements" (Wikipedia).
7. As a result of oppressing Israel.
8. The spiritual world consists of hierarchical spheres. From the highest sphere to the lowest sphere. The angels of the nations are in a sphere close to the earth (Dr. L. Floor, Where the Angels Dwell and Work (2006). Samael is present in the highest sphere (The Zohar, Volume III, p. 204).
9. The Midrash (Pirkei d'Rabbi Eliezer, ch. 14) describes how God “cast Samael and his troops out of their holy place in heaven.” In the previous chapter of the same Midrash we read how Samael is unique because, while other angels have six wings, Samael has twelve and “controls an entire army of demons” (Mayim Achronim, November 21, 2018)

11. Other statisticians are more skeptical. They subjected “Moby Dick” to the same kind of research. The names of Hitler, Kennedy, Twin Towers and Napoleon also appeared here. The supporters of the Bible code rejected this criticism (SCRIBD, SiTU lecture notes, 2009).
